Presence in the Park is a summer community outreach program where we take back Fairmount Park in Red Lion for the local
families and community. We are there to help make the park and Red Lion a safer place. The program will start on Wednesday June 6th from 7PM until 8:30PM, and continue every Wednesday at that time thru August.
Pleasant View is being joined by three other local churches: Dove Community, Bethel United Methodist and Chapel United Methodist. We will be interacting with local families and children that are there, playing games (so bring a Frisbee, ball and glove, etc. if you want), having prayer walks, and praying that the presence of Christ would come down on the park and go thru Red Lion. Last year was a huge success with the community, bringing the number of police calls at the park to near zero.
